S ite selection for vineyards has long been recognized as an important factor of successful grape and wine production and consequently much attention has been devoted to it by growers and scientists alike. The purpose of this research is to provide a map of suitable wine grape growing regions for Napa County in the state of California. The site selection criterions for this study are Seasonal Growing Degree Days, Solar radiation, Soil drainage.
